The Proctors

When The Cudgels decided to put an end to their band in the beginnings of the 90s, three of its original members (Gavin, Stephen and Adrian) joined Gavin’s sister and formed The Proctors, a band with a very short life (from 1993 to 1995) in which they only had time to record a couple of singles and an ep for the American label, Sunday Records. Almost when we had started to forget about them, they made a reappearance in 2009, at the same time as the publication of a CD on Cloudberry Recors including unreleased tracks. From then on, they have began to record songs with a crystalline and embracing sound, such as ‘I Need To Tell You’, ‘The Trouble With Forever’ or the beautiful ‘Perfect World’. As a result of all of this, they’ve witnessed the release of two fantastic singles on Dufflecoat Records and Shelflife Records which we are sure they’ll be presenting in the next Madrid Popfest.
