Y por fin tendremos a Kokoshca en el escenario de Clamores. Los pamploneses llevan desde 2008 regalándonos sus canciones, con frases y melodías que nos llegan dentro y se quedan con nosotros para no irse nunca. Los descubrimos gracias al ya desaparecido sello Birra y Perdiz, con ese primer CD-r ‘Unete a Kokoshca»(2008) al que siguió «La Fuerza»(2010). Y a partir de ahí ya era imposible dejar de escucharles, dejar de emocionarnos, no esperar desesperadamente una canción nueva.
Nunca nos ha faltado nuestra dosis de Kokoshca, tras «La Fuerza» llegaría esa cassette de grabaciones perdidas, su Kafea eta Galletak, su paso por Elefant y su colaboración con Discos Walden que incluía «Prefiero Golpes» y la maravillosa «Noches sin ti».
Es difícil añadir algo nuevo sobre Kokoshca que no se haya dicho ya: Kokoshca es rabia, Kokoshca es pasión, Kokoshca es anarquía, Kokoshca es sutileza, Kokoshca es emoción, Kokoshca es verdad, Kokoshca es oscuridad, Kokoshca es erotismo, Kokoshca es desgarro, Kokoshca es luz, Kokoshca es adicción, Kokoshca es locura…
Ahora Kokoshca son Amaia e Iñaki, tras la marcha de Javi, y en estos días nos llega su nuevo disco » Hay una Luz» a través de Ayo Silver. Su pequeño adelanto en el primavera sound fue uno de los momentos del festival para quien escribe; ya no hay que esperar más, por fin podremos recrearnos en sus nuevas canciones una y otra vez.
And we’ll at last bring you Kokoshca to the Clamores stage. The band from Pamplona have been around since 2008, giving us their songs, full of lyrics and melodies that get inside us and stay with us to never leave. We discovered them thanks to the now gone Birra y Perdiz label, with that first CD-r ‘Unete a Kokoshca’ (2008) to which ‘La Fuerza’ (2010) followed. And since then, it was impossible to stop listening to them, to stop being thrilled by them, to stop desperately waiting a new song.
Luckily, we have never stayed for too long without our Kokoshca dose. Following ‘La Fuerza’ a tape with lost recordings arrived, and then their Kafea eta Galletak, their time at Elefant and their collaboration with Discos Walden, which included ‘Prefiero Golpes’ and the wonderful ‘Noches sin ti’.

Now, Kokoshca are Amaia and Iñaki, after Javi’s departure, and in these days their brand new album, ‘Hay una Luz’ has been brought to us by Ayo Silver. The bit that they advanced on the Primavera Sound was one of The Moments of the festival for the person who is writing these lines; we haven’t got to wait any longer, we will finally be able to become absorbed by their new songs over and over.
